Eli Farkas LMSW
Clinical Associate & Intake
Coordinator
Contact: eli@dkcounselinggroup.com
Eli works from a client-centered, relational approach grounded in meeting each client as a whole person—with their own strengths, reasons, and capacity for change—rather than a problem to be fixed, drawing on the collaborative spirit of motivational interviewing to help people move toward what matters to them. He specializes in children, teenagers, and young adults navigating developmental, emotional, and psychological challenges—including anxiety, OCD, depression, motivation, and addiction concerns—where they actually show up in daily life.
What further defines Eli’s work is his ability to hold two perspectives at once: he sees each person as part of a larger system—family, school, relationships—with the skill to help parent, child, and school work together rather than at cross-purposes, while also meeting the individual as a whole world unto themselves.
His approach stays the same throughout: help you understand what’s actually happening, give you tools that work, and support you in building toward what you're reaching for.
